Outer Harbour Marina Toronto

Welcome to our new base of operations. Sheltered and comprehensive, the marina offers state-of-the-art equipment and full marine services including free parking, laundry services and washrooms with showers. Surrounded by scenic green space including BBQ pavilions, beautiful views across Toronto waters, and easy access to the open blue of Lake Ontario one can easily access the glittering urban fun of the city’s downtown. Located just 10 minutes from Toronto’s downtown core, the Outer Harbour Marina boasts a unique view of the city, with more than 600 slips and knowledgeable, friendly staff. The marina also has a 5 Green Anchor Gold rating from Boating Ontario.

With easy access to the sheltered Toronto harbour, even wavy windy days can be enjoyed by visiting neighbouring yacht clubs, waterside restaurants, bars, marinas and the scenic Toronto Islands. Most people are surprised to hear that this area boasts Blue Flag beaches. The Blue Flag is an international eco-label awarded to only the finest cleanest beaches and marinas around the world. The City of Toronto has been awarded Blue Flags at eight of its swimming beaches. Flying the Blue Flag means that the beach has met 27 criteria with respect to water quality, environmental management, environmental education, and safety and services. These beaches include Hanlan’s Point Beach, Ward’s Island Beach, Centre Island Beach, Gibraltar Point Beach, Cherry Beach, Woodbine Beach, Bluffer’s Beach Park and Kew-Balmy Beach are all waiting for you to explore them easily by boat.

From the marina, you can also stroll over to adjacent Tommy Thompson Natural park. Located on a narrow peninsula with 10km of paved trails for walking, rollerblading & cycling over 1200 acres. This nearby park is a unique place to experience nature, and one of the best places for bird-watching in the city, with more than 300 recorded species.

With one of the skyline views in the world, I enjoy cruising through this area immensely anchoring off the various beaches and swimming areas. Hanlan’s Point has long been a favorite day or overnight stop location for visiting area boaters. It is at the west end of the islands can be reached directly from Toronto Harbour with space for up to 150 boats. My favorite events are taking in the CNE Airshow, catching a movie at the Sail-in Cinema or watching the holiday fireworks displays.
