Outer Harbour Marina Toronto
Welcome to our new base of operations. Outer Harbour Marina offers a sheltered, full-service environment with modern facilities and comprehensive marine services. In addition, amenities include free parking, laundry services, and washrooms with showers.
Surrounded by scenic green space, BBQ areas, and expansive views across Toronto’s waterfront, the marina creates a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. At the same time, it provides direct access to the open waters of Lake Ontario, making it easy to transition from calm harbour cruising to open lake adventures.
Located just 10 minutes from downtown Toronto, Outer Harbour Marina offers a unique balance of convenience and escape. With more than 600 slips and a team of knowledgeable, friendly staff, it stands out as one of the city’s premier boating destinations. As a result, it delivers both practicality and a high-quality boating experience. The marina is also recognized with a 5 Green Anchor Gold rating from Boating Ontario, reflecting its commitment to environmental excellence.
Secluded From City Noise
With easy access to Toronto’s sheltered harbour, even windy days can be enjoyed on the water. As a result, you can comfortably visit nearby yacht clubs, waterfront restaurants, marinas, and the scenic Toronto Islands.
Many are surprised to learn that this area is home to several Blue Flag beaches. The Blue Flag is an international eco-label awarded to beaches and marinas that meet the highest standards for cleanliness, safety, and environmental management. In fact, the City of Toronto has earned this designation for eight of its beaches.
These include Hanlan’s Point, Ward’s Island, Centre Island, Gibraltar Point, Cherry Beach, Woodbine Beach, Bluffer’s Beach Park, and Kew-Balmy Beach. As a result, boaters have easy access to some of the cleanest and most well-maintained waterfront destinations in the region.
Surrounded by Nature
From the marina, you can also stroll over to adjacent Tommy Thompson Natural park. Located on a narrow peninsula with 10km of paved trails for walking, rollerblading & cycling over 1200 acres. This nearby park is a unique place to experience nature, and one of the best places for bird-watching in the city, with more than 300 recorded species.
With one of the skyline views in the world, I enjoy cruising through this area immensely anchoring off the various beaches and swimming areas. Hanlan’s Point has long been a favorite day or overnight stop location for visiting area boaters. It is at the west end of the islands can be reached directly from Toronto Harbour with space for up to 150 boats. My favorite events are taking in the CNE Airshow, catching a movie at the Sail-in Cinema or watching the holiday fireworks displays.
